There are a few spots recently open for my spring plant walk Sunday May 23rd from 1-3pm!
Location: Farm 24km NW of Regina, SK (exact directions will be emailed out prior to event)
Come for a plant walk and learn about local wild edible and medicinal plants in the Regina area!
While hiking through a natural valley with a spring-fed creek 24km NW of Regina, you will learn:
The basics of foraging (wildcrafting)
How to identify many local plants and their families
How to cook with seasonal, wildcrafted items
The medicinal and culinary uses of local plants
How to identify common poisonous plants
This workshop will highlight plants/seeds available in the spring. The hike is not strenuous, but does involve walking on uneven ground so sturdy footwear is recommended. If you’re unable to hike through the valley, please contact me and I would love to set up a private tour in a suitable location for you.
Exact directions will be sent prior to the event.
If you have any questions, please email Jenine at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (306) 541-5404.
Registration is first come, first serve and payment in full is necessary to hold your place. The walk will take place no matter what the weather has in store for us!
